Parents and aspiring models often approach me in the hope of joining a lucrative model agency, so I decided to start a school where they have the freedom to grow, find themselves, build confidence and most importantly, make a difference in their community. I don't develop influencers, I develop impactors!

I recently went to SAMFW and they showcased the Winter 2019 collections. The show opened at the prestigious Radisson hotel and Unknown Union showcased and absolute production of art, fashion, and music. How can anyone compete at this level? Unknown Union show day 1 - fashion showcase Unknown Union artwork showcase Day 1-As it's SA Menswear week, I opted for a 3 piece suit.  I am celebrating Menswear.  The backless top and strappy sandals adds a bit of femininity  and completes the look.  Day 2 - I opted for 90's puffed sleeves and foil print skirt Ladies, this style feminizes a square shape, adding  volume and curve to a boyish frame. This summer ruffles and tiers are huge! The key is to ensure that you keep it simple! Ruffles add volume, hence it could make you look bigger, so be careful of the fabric you choose. I find that chiffon and gorgette ruffles (in dresses and skirts) are extremely flattering for all frames. Check my older posts to find your bodyshape guide. I opted for a 'strappy top'... ...and layers starting below my hips... ...and teamed it with my silver flats! Ruffle dresses are special enough, so keep accessories minimal!

Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their beautiful wedding! I don't know about you, but one could definately feel the love! What a picture of love! The iconic 'kiss' that melt our hearts. Meghan stuns in a sleek minimal Givenchy dress.  My 5 favourites at the wedding were: Australian actress - Jacinda Barret is the epitome of sophistication in this beautiful berry dress. Carey Mulligan is absolutely feminine in a demure floral dress. Serena Williams is so regal in her assymetrical rose ensemble by Versace! Gina Torres definately towers in this red lace Costarellos dress. Amal is my absolute fave in this striking yellow dress!

I am an absolute 'girly' girl and LOVE my dresses and skirts, but I also enjoy a great fitting denim and super sleek suit! So if preppy is your 'thang' why not play up your pinstripe blazer with a supercool distressed denim?  A Pinstripe box blazer is always cool.. Work your blazer with a white shirt... ...and pearl embellished denim... ...and pops of colour accessories! And don't forget the attitude, - bosslady! Details are key! A cute 'bright bag' with matching earrings and heels are so edgy! And your insect brooch is so hot this season!  Any insect accessories from dragonflies, to beetles, to spiders are on trend!
