Mix it up!!

Image
I love mixing up prints! Especially if it the same family/hues. For example monochromes (Black and whites)   These Images show monochromes  mixed with a slight pop of colour! Great for work!   I opted for a more laid black  monochrome mix, with a white 60's frame...   .. a black and white palm print off shoulder, teamed with a grid print skirt...   ...a plain black sling back with chrome handles..   ...and a metallic flat!  There is no need to restrict or contrive your look. Play around with prints.  As long as they are similar hues....mash it up! :-) Viva La Diva! Top - The Fix Skirt - Calista Clothing by Meagan Duckitt Nails - Flawlessnailsandbeauty

Who says sequins is only for night time dressing?

We are in a fashion era, where expressing yourself has become the norm. We are no longer only restricted to trends (we are directed to on the runway or in mags) but streetlstyle is one of the key directions designers and trend forecasters seek to follow. Sequins and satins no longer are associated with occasionwear or parties, its making its way to the street. And me being absolutely smitten with both, pulled some inspo for you, my gorgeousness! Have a look at my Polyvore images below...   Logo T-s are GORGEOUS!   Wear yours with a gorgeous statement skirts. My sequins placement print is in a popart 'word print. I teamed it with a pleated skirt. Silver flats and and grounded the look with a silver flat! Top - The Fix Skirt - Vintage Nails - Flawlessnailsandbeauty

I absolutely love cute combos, especially if it includes a print, a bold lip, and a denim jacket! Play down your Peter Pan collar dress with a cute sneaker, pop art bag and authentic patched denim. Keep the retro look with a bright red lippy! Dress - MiuMiu Denim - Givenchy Sneakers - Olympia Handbag - Playnomore Oval shades - Red Doris Lipstick - Loreal Paris

Swimwear tip #1

Image
Its summer in the Southern hemisphere and I am make the MOST of every sunny day. I love the beach,  and what better way  than to use the latter as a gorgeous backdrop for my latest swimwear shoot! If you are a slim girl like me, and a rectangle frame, metallic swimwear always accentuates!   I opted for a gold set, with an underwire bra to provide some lift! A brief that fits just below the navel, is adds curve and shape,  especially on your square frame.
