African Fashion International celebrates 10 years of Fashion!

On Wednesay the 22nd of March, African Fashion International celebrated a decade of fashion and the glamorous 'Silver Party' theme was true to their exquisite brand.
A Glam Affair
The venue was the upmarket 'Meadow' overlooking the Camps Bay beachfront and the dress code was nothing short of 'glamorous'.The Who's who attended
The carefully selected guestlist, varied from ministers to SA cebrities, and the biggest names in fashion, inclusive of minister Minister Nathi Methethwa, Felicia Mabusa - Suttle, Dr Precious and Patrice Motsepe, Grace Constable and many more.
Mark Lotttering was the host and managed to have everyone curling with laughter, while guests
enjoyed exquisite nibbles and drinks form the bar.

Dr Precious Motsepe who is the owner of African Fashion international made a powerful speech, and explained how her mother and many fashion icons inclusive of Jacky Kennedy and Coco Chanel, played a big role in her love for fashion. As she is a regular traveller to international fashions shows, she mentioned how she was missing fashion weeks in South Africa, hence her starting AFI. She also mentioned how few start up businesses actually succeed in the first 5 - 10 years.
She looked exquisite in jewel encrusted gown with soft side swept curls.

Further to speeches, guest were entertained by the jazzy tones of talented artist - Jimmy Nevis, while Maps Maponyani interviewed different designers and celebs.

The evening ended with selfies, numbers and fun shared amongst guests, and even though it was chilly outside, everyone seemed in high spirits, anticipating the coming fashion week
