I am a firm believer that we have the power to transform lives, one person at a time. Past Saturday I had the opportunity to head up a project in conjunction with an NPO I co-founded called Equilibrium, and we donated at least 50 dresses to matric learners from the Cape flats who cannot afford their own. The ladies looked amazing We had phenominal speakers to encourage the ladies to  follow their dreams! Everyone was excited! The turn up was amazing!

This summer, rose pinks and ruffles add a beautiful romantic flair to your sunny wardrobe. I added a bit of an edge, by playing with rose in soft pleathers!  Anchor your ruffled sleeve top with a fitted skirt.  A sheen jacket is sassy, chic and trendy! Team up your look with a gorgeous platform and a tonal  chunky neckpiece to complete your look :-)

I love prints! Team up your gorgeous tropical print with a fab plain skirt and extend the colour in your heels! Have fun with colour!

On Saturday I showcased my range at a Woman' day event. The 'who's - who' of entertainment were there inclusive of presenter Katelgeo, Artist - Tamara Dey, Garth Brooks as well as our fabulous ambassador - Miss A Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters!

Ensure that if your outfits is matt/dull, match it with a 'shiny' item. Either a shiny coat, or glitter heel, etc. 'Ladylike' is always a good look - so choose a luxurious lace dress, with pearl accessories and don't forget a beautiful fur coat!! If you opt for a dress, the above halter styles are great to lengthen and slim you! Prints are a great way to hide and camouflage, just make sure its not too big, or too small. A dark background with bright flowers are great! Why not accessories with the colour in your print as below?

I love it when the sun plays 'peekaboo' in the midst of high winter! Its the perfect opportunity to pull out your transitional biker (which has now become a staple!) pull out a gorgeous maxi skirt, and say bye - bye to drabby winter chills!          This plaid skirt is in a soft viscose and drapes like a dream!      Team your skirt with a white structured shirt and add an edge with a biker jacket. If you don't have a biker, opt for any other fabric - ponti/poly knits are excellent options Slap on an easy flat - in my case I opted for a mens inspired flat, and an oversized bag. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

The SA Menswear Spring Summer collection recently took place at the Palms in Woodstock from Thursday, 6 July to Saturday, 8 July. Issa Leo, a Spanish designer, based in Cape Town opened the week with a showing at his store in Loop street. He stayed true to his ethos ‘quality, craftsmanship and design'. Issa believes in ‘reviving the lost industry in this country’, and sees his brand as a movement which promotes South Africa as a source of inspiration. He showcased his line of leather jackets, complimented by sports lux trousers, suede T-shirts and velour tracksuits, to name a few.
