How to dress for an interview

Many women are not really sure what the best items of clothing are to dress for an interview. The key thing is to dress for success! Also add a bit of your personality, whilst trying to be the best professional candidate for the position.

Be yourself

Dress up! Look the part! Wear something that's truly you! Don't strive to look like anyone else. Research the job and study the job description. This will give you an overview of the expectation. You have 7 seconds to make a first impression. Do your best!

Add a dash of confidence!

 OR

Even if you are nervous, add a dash of colour - if you are adventurous enough, wear a bright top or dress. However, if you are not comfortable, colour always read well in accessories like belts, scarves and bags!! The left option is the younger interpretation, whereas the right one is for a more mature
woman.

Preppy lady!

If all fails -  to be or not to LBD?

An LBD will always be 'old faithful'. Find a dress based on your body shape that will work for you. Something comfy and classy!

Comfort always wins!

Look at smart, yet comfortable options that you can dress up. You don't always need killer heels to look smart, opt for kitten heels, pumps or flat pointies. Depending whether the job is quite easygoing, you could opt for a denim shirt worn under a formal black blazer, and smart shoes.

Dress like a Champion

Dress appropriate to the season, and your bodytype. You want to beat your competitors to the position.  There is nothing more inappropriate than a women dressed in attire that is unflattering or too revealing! EEEK!!!
